Rangpur, Dec 28 (bdnews24.com) – A boiler explosion in a cigarette factory has left four dead and 27 injured in Rangpur.
"Of the injured, 16 were admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital in severe conditions. Conditions of eight are critical,".
The incident took place in Gopinathpur village on Tuesday.
"Only two of the four deceased have so far been identified," Kotwali police chief Haider Ali Mollah told bdnews24.com.
The cause of the explosion is yet to be found. Majority of the workers were at work during the explosion, Haider added.
