Four swimmers to participate in World Championship

Four Bangladeshi swimmers will take part in the 12th FINA World Championship scheduled for March 17 in Melbourne, Australia.

Dhaka, Jan 4 (bdnews24.com) - Four Bangladeshi swimmers will take part in the 12th FINA World Championship scheduled for March 17 in Melbourne, Australia.
The decision was taken at the meeting of the Bangladesh Swimming Federation (BSF) Sunday
The swimmers are SA Games gold medallist Shahjahan Ali Ronny, silver medallist Rubel Rana, Dolly Akter and Mahfuza Khatun.
"A selection panel picked up four swimmers -- two men and two women -- for the meet," said Aminul Haq Sajal, general secretary of BSF.
The selected four swimmers are now in the Indo-Bangla camp that began on January 23.
Famous swimmer Arun Nandi will accompany them as a coach-cum-manager.
