Musicologist Karunamoy Goswami passes away
Ekushey Padak-winning musicologist, musician and litterateur Karunamoy Goswami has died at the age of 73.

Goswami passed away at 11:45pm on Friday at his home in Dhaka, said family member Sourav Bhattacharya.
Goswami had been suffering from fever since Thursday, Bhattacharya told bdnews24.com.
His body is currently at the Samorita Hospital morgue.
The funeral services will be held once his children, who currently live in the US and Canada, return to Bangladesh.
Goswami was born on Mar 11, 1942. He was the author of the Bangla Academy publication Sangeet Kosh and wrote many other books on music.
