The International Crimes Tribunal indicted Chowdhury Mueen-Uddin and Ashrafuzzaman Khan on war crimes charges on Monday.

Justice Obaidul Hassan-led ICT-2 gave the verdict ordering trials to commence from Jul 15.
The two are currently abroad, but the trials will begin in absentia. They have been charged on 11 counts related to the massacre of the Bengali intellectuals in the last days of the 1971 Liberation War.
Khan is believed to be currently living in New York and Mueen-Uddin in London.
