Bangladesh and Belarus inked seven instruments, including two agreements and four Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs), on Tuesday, eyeing enhanced cooperation between the two countries.

Local news agency Belarusian Telegraph Agency (BELTA) said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her Belarusian counterpart Mikhail Myasnikovich were present during the signing at the House of Government.
The instruments have been signed during Sheikh Hasina’s official tour to Belarus.
Foreign Minister Dipu Moni and Belarus Minister of Taxes and Duties Vladimir Poluyan penned an agreement on avoidance of double taxation.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Belarus SM Saiful Huq and Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Roumas inked a framework agreement on commodity export credit.
Two MoUs were on cooperation in peaceful use of nuclear energy and cultural cooperation.
The other two were: one for a diplomatic training academy, signed by Foreign Secretary Shahidul Huq and Rector Prof Dr Anatol Marazevich, and another between two universities, signed by Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) Vice Chancellor Dr Md Elias Uddin Biswas and Vice Rector Dr Andrei Goronovsky.
A joint declaration of intent on preferential export loan was signed by ambassador to Belarus Dr SM Saiful Huq and First deputy minister of Finance Vladimir Amarin.
