Road Transport Minister Obaidul Quader said on Wednesday that all vehicles will have to collect such license plates issued by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) by Dec 31.
“A circular will be issued today,” he told reporters.
RFID-tagged retro-reflective license plates will help identify a vehicle and also will help to curb use of fake plates on vehicles.
