"I'm innocent," he cried thrusting his hand towards the judges on Tuesday.
"This verdict has been cooked up. You'll be tried in the court of Allah," he said.
Policemen forced him to take his seat but he kept repeating his words.
Bangladesh's first war crimes tribunal found him guilty of genocide, murder, rape, arson and loot.
The Al-Badr commander shouted 'Allah is great' when the judges finished reading out the verdict.
