This year's pilgrimage season claims the lives of 55 Bangladeshis
Muslim pilgrims from all over the world gather at the Arafat grounds in Saudi Arabia at sunrise on Tuesday to perform Hajj. The pilgrims' chants of “Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik”, or “I am here, O Allah, I am here”, fill the air to memorialse the Final Hajj performed by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
They fly into Saudi Arabia on 81 flights for Hajj
Another 13 flights are due to depart Dhaka later in the day
The gifts include bottled water, backpacks, Hajj kits, soap, water pots, petroleum jelly, wooden tooth brushes and dates
The Gulf kingdom has finalised contracts and prepared camps ahead of the early visa rollout
The visa stage, however, still demands a valid passport for PID-based updates
