He said this in the light of Inu’s alleged remark that BNP chief Khaleda Zia should disappear from this world.
Rizvi, speaking at press conference held at the BNP’s Naya Paltan party headquarters on Monday, also claimed the minister had made such a remark only to please Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

He said: “While addressing a programme on the occasion of the Hindu community’s Rathayatra in Swamibagh on July 4 Information Minister threatened to make BNP chief disappear from the world.
“His comment is intentional, vindictive, condemnable, and sounds like a goon’s menace. We severely protest and condemn the comment. Godfathers of terrorism are running the country. So, comments like these are being heard.”
Rizvi said: “Recently, MPs, including those of the ruling party, criticised JaSaD’s anarchist role during the 1972-75 period in Parliament. This left Inu embarrassed.
“Inu made such an aggressive comment to deflect media attention and to make the PM happy. Despite unleashing vindictive force on opposition parties, PM’s quench for vengeance is till unmet. Inu’s comment is only fuelling the ongoing repression,” he added.
He said the country had sunk into a state of lawlessness.
“Miscreants are abducting teenage girls in broad day light. Sycophant ministers keep talking about annihilating the opposition parties.”
