As every year, preparations are underway at Dhaka University’s Jagannath Hall for the Saraswati Puja. Artisans are busy carving the idols. Students from different departments buy the idols at rates varying from Tk 3,000 to Tk 60,000, depending on the size. Hindu devotees will conduct the puja for the goddess of wisdom and learning on Feb 14.
