Bangladesh observed Martyr Noor Hossain Day on Thursday, Nov 10, 2022 to remember the iconic pro-democracy activist Noor Hossain, who was killed in police firing during an anti-autocracy movement in 1987 that led to the ouster of military strongman HM Ershad three years later.
