Kumari Puja held after 2 years

The Kumari Puja, one of the most notable events during the Durga Puja celebrations, were not held for the past two years due to the coronavirus pandemic. But this year, on Maha Ashtami, the event was held and a girl was symbolically worshipped as the goddess Durga at Dhaka's Ramkrishna Mission on Monday, Oct 3, 2022. Devotees prayed to the goddess for the destruction of evil and the triumph of good.
