Dhaka University’s Jagannath Hall has started preparing for Saraswati Puja to be held on Feb 14. Artisans are now painting the idols of the Hindu goddess of wisdom and learning, in the final stage of the preparations. The departments of the university buy the idols at Tk 3,000-60,000, depending on the size.
