Effects of adverse weather on crops

Farmers in Bangladesh are harvesting crops in an untimely manner due to the adverse effects of climate change. Potato crops are usually harvested by the middle or end of Falgun, the first Bengali month of the spring season, in Munshiganj’s Sirajdikhan Upazila. Even a few years ago, the crops were not ready before Chaitra, the following month and the last on the Bengali calendar.
