Flowers for four national leaders

Following the assassination of Bangabandhu and his family on Aug 15, 1975, four of his closest associates – known as the national leaders – were killed in prison on Nov 3, 1971. A number of events are held at the jail on Old Dhaka’s Nazimuddin Road, which has since been converted to a memorial museum, on Jail Killing Day every year to commemorate the occasion.
