Berger Paints Bangladesh has launched an immersive art and design exhibition in Dhaka that explores the relationship between interior design, imagination and mental wellbeing.
The exhibition, titled "Hariye Jai by Berger Illusions", opened on Thursday at Aloki. Organisers said it aims to highlight how paint-based design can shape living spaces and influence mood beyond the use of flat colours.
At the centre of the exhibition are a series of installations co-created with three Bangladeshi creative figures: architect and actor Aupee Karim, fashion designer Sarah Karim, and musician and visual artist Arnob. Berger Paints said the works demonstrate how artistic interior treatments can create immersive environments intended to stimulate creativity and emotional balance.
Senior government officials and corporate leaders attended the opening, alongside Berger Paints Bangladesh Managing Director Rupali Chowdhury, Chief Business Officer AKM Sadeque Nawaj, and Chief Marketing Officer Salahuddin Tarek.
The campaign name Hariye Jai, which translates as “lost in thought”, reflects what the company describes as a state of imagination that can support productivity and wellbeing through thoughtfully designed interiors.
Speaking at the event, Rupali Chowdhury said Berger was seeking to move beyond the conventional idea of paint as a surface treatment.
“Through ‘Hariye Jai’, Berger continues its journey of redefining paint beyond surfaces. We believe well-designed interiors have the power to uplift the mind, inspire creativity, and enrich everyday living.”
The event also marked the launch of the Berger Privilege Card, which offers discounted services at Berger Experience Zones. The company said additional benefits through partner organisations would be added gradually.
The evening concluded with the premiere of a promotional video for the campaign, featuring the three collaborators, accompanied by a newly recomposed version of Arnob’s song Hariye Giyechhi.
Berger Paints said the initiative reflects its broader focus on innovation, creativity and wellbeing-oriented interior design.
