In 2024, NSU jointly shared the top position with three other Bangladeshi universities.
Among last year’s top-ranked universities, JU and NSU retained their positions, while three new universities joined them in the form of BSMRAU, DIU and JUST.
RANKING REFLECTS OUR DEDICATION: NSU VC
Expressing his heartfelt gratitude about his university’s success in a statement, NSU Vice-Chancellor Prof Abdul Hannan Chowdhury said: "This achievement stands as a clear reflection of the hard work, dedication, and commitment of each member of our university community — students, faculty, staff, and alumni alike, and the guidance of the NSU Board of Trustees.”
“We also thank the Ministry of Education, the University Grants Commission, and other regulatory bodies for their cooperation, as well as our fellow universities for their inspiration. Moving forward, NSU remains committed to nurturing future leaders, fostering innovation, and advancing higher education in Bangladesh."
This recognition as the top-ranked university in Bangladesh shows the potential of the whole NSU community to push boundaries and influence the future of education both nationally and internationally, the NSU statement said.
