152 border guards were sentenced to death by hanging, 161 were given life sentences and 256 others got prison sentences between three to ten years.
In his immediate reaction after the Tuesday verdict, Kajal said the perpetrators of the massacre of army officers have been punished.
74 people, including 57 army officers, were killed by the mutineers of the erstwhile Bangladesh Rifles on Feb 25-26 in 2009.

The court of Dhaka's Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Akhtaruzzaman announced the verdict on Tuesday.
The BGB Director General Major General Aziz Ahmed welcomed it and said it would give him peace.
A total of 277 were acquitted of the charges.
“It seems justice has been delivered,” said Kajal.
He said prosecution would wait for necessary documents to decide whether the acquittals should be challenged.
The government controlled the mutiny with some difficulty and later re-christened the BDR as Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB).
The border guards were issued new uniforms and the formations were reorganised in a complete image makeover.
