The parents of 10 youths, who have been missing for several months, have urged them to return after it emerges that the Gulshan cafe attackers had been missing for months before they carried out the carnage.

The families of the missing youths had sought the help of security forces to get them back, a highly-placed source in the government told bdnews24.com on Wednesday.
Identities of these families have not been revealed for the sake of their security.
The 10 missing youths are:
Mohammad Bashruzzaman from Tejgaon in Dhaka.
Zunaid Khan from Badda.
Nazibullah Ansari from Chanpainawabganj.
Ashraf Mohammad Islam from Dhaka.
Tamim Ahmed Chowdhury from Sylhet.
Ibrahim Hasan Khan from Dhaka.
ATM Tajuddin from Lakkhipur.
Zubaidur Rahim from Dhanmondi in Dhaka.
Mohammad Saifullah Ojaki from Sylhet.

A group of young gunmen held at least 33 guests, mostly foreigners, hostage on Friday evening and later went on a killing spree, taking the lives of 20 of them.
After SITE Intelligence Group published the militants’ photos reportedly released by terror outfit Islamic State, former classmates started identifying them.
They posted a combination of the attackers’ photos to go with the ‘IS-released’ photos.
Out of the five gunmen, Rohan Ibn Imtiaz and Meer Saameh Mubasheer were from Scholastica school in Dhaka and Nibras Islam from North South University.
Their families said they had been missing for months.
The families of the two other attackers – Md Khairuzzaman and Shafiqul Isklam Ujjal - from madrasas in Bogra also said they had been out of contact for months.
RAB Director General Benazir Ahmed has asked the people to inform the law enforcers if they have any of their young members missing.
