Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Thursday said: “We think this (Imam’s Wednesday remarks) is a clear testimony of partisanship.”
On Wednesday, Imam, addressing a programme of Bangladesh Chhatra League at Dhaka University, said: “You have to do well in the written test for any competitive exams including those for jobs. I am ready to give tuition if needed."
"Then we’ll see how much we can help you, not before that," he had said.
Fakhrul at a discussion at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh said, “It can be assumed from this influential person's statement what the state of the administration is."
"Only the (supporters) of Chhatra League will get the jobs, not others.”
The BNP spokesperson said: “The government has already politicised the judiciary. The situation in the administration is the same.”
