ACC Deputy Director Abdus Sattar Sarker submitted the charge-sheet in the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Shahidul Islam, ACC’s prosecution department officer at the court, told bdnews24.com that Metropolitan Magistrate Shamsul Arefin had received the document and marked it as ‘seen’.
The court will later hold hearing on the acceptability of the charges.
The anti-graft body had issued a notice on Jan 25, 2013, asking Banu to submit her wealth statement.
On her failure to do so, ACC Deputy Director RK Majumdar filed the case against her with the Ramna Police Station, in Dhaka, on Jan 30, 2014.
Banu is the wife of former Navy chief Mahbub Ali Khan.
