Teacher candidates beaten up again
Police have charged batons and used water canons at assistant teachers selected for government primary schools whose appointment was scrapped by the High Court. The law enforcers resorted to the action after the job seekers blocked Shahbagh Intersection to protest. The protesters were also beaten up on Friday and Monday.
