Life in a hazard zone
Banners marked “hazardous building” hang on two buildings belonging to Dhaka’s Sir Salimullah Medical College Mitford Hospital. Despite being declared unfit for residence or use, regular activities continue there unabated. Aware of the risk, many physicians and employees live there with their families; medical services are also being carried out.
