HSC exam results released

In a gesture following the injuries and deaths of scores of students during the Anti-discrimination Student Movement, students announced they will not sit for half of the exams. As a result, this year's Higher Secondary Certificate, or HSC, and equivalent exam results were released based on the results of the Secondary School Certificate, or SSC, and equivalent exams through subject mapping. A total of 1,450,790 students from 11 education boards participate in the HSC and equivalent examinations this year.
