The salt fields at Shah Porir Dwip
Salt production was halted for two weeks on the island of Shah Porir Dwip off the coast of Cox’s Bazar’s Teknaf due to a Nor’wester storm in the area and other adverse weather. Now, farmers have returned to their fields and are again at work.
