As winter wanes, the trees begin shedding their leaves. Almost every tree in Ramna Park now wears a golden carpet of fallen foliage. In just a few days, spring -- hailed as the “king of Bengali seasons” -- will arrive, bringing nature’s vibrant colours. The iconic “lungs of Dhaka”, Ramna Park, is currently adorned in a breathtaking tapestry of fallen leaves, captivating nature lovers and visitors alike.

A riot of colours has blossomed in Dhaka as the city’s first Flower Festival opens at Ramna Park. Organised by the Public Works Department, the three-day celebration brings together 29 stunning varieties of flowers from Bangladesh and abroad, inviting visitors to stroll amid blooms, capture their beauty, and bask in nature’s artistry from 8am to 5pm each day.
