Eid congregation at Baitul Mukarram

Thousands of people took part in the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on Saturday, Mar 21, 2026 after a month of fasting. As every year, five Eid congregations are to be held at this mosque.

Iftar at Baitul Mukarram

Iftar is organised daily during the month of Ramadan at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, where hundreds of worshippers break fasting. The mosque committee, Islamic Foundation, and Tablighi Jamaat jointly organise the event.

Law enforcers received word of banned organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir scheduled programme two days in advance. But police failed to prevent the gathering as clashes soon erupted in Baitul Mukarram.
