The Election Commission has set up a Central Law and Order Coordination Cell to help ensure that the national election and referendum are held in a fair and peaceful manner.
The cell is operating from Room 417 of the Election Commission building.
It has been established to facilitate information-sharing on election-related law and order issues, receive complaints, and provide emergency coordination.
Five telephone numbers have been made available for this purpose: 02-55007470, 02-55007471, 02-55007472, 02-55007474, and 02-55007506.
EC officials say the cell will operate continuously during the election period, monitoring the law and order situation on the ground and coordinating with relevant agencies to take any necessary action.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has also set up a separate Law and Order Coordination Cell ahead of the election.
Any complaints related to law and order can be reported by contacting this unit.

Two mobile numbers have also been provided: 01550-064226, which is available on WhatsApp, and 01550-064227.
HOTLINE 333

A special information service for citizens has been launched through the a2i National Helpline 333 to ensure access to accurate and reliable election-related information.
Voters can call the toll-free number 333 from any mobile network in Bangladesh and press 9 to receive election-related information and assistance.
Citizens can also report any urgent election-related message, complaint, alert, or suggestion from any constituency by calling the same number.
The service provides guidance on voting rules and procedures, polling station locations, national identity card information, the election code of conduct, voting procedures for expatriate voters, and special facilities available to persons with disabilities, elderly voters, and women.
It also offers emergency instructions and important contact numbers.
Authorities say arrangements will be made to take immediate action where necessary.
Voting will take place continuously on Thursday from 7:30am to 4:30pm.
