Bangladesh cruised to a comprehensive nine-wicket victory over the Netherlands in the second T20 international at Sylhet, sealing a 2-0 lead in the three-match series with 41 balls to spare.

The Tigers, electing to field first, restricted the visitors for 103 in 17.3 overs at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Monday.

Aryan Dutt top-scored with a defiant 30 off 24 balls, including three fours and one six, providing the only significant resistance in a faltering innings.

Vikramjit Singh (24) started aggressively hitting four boundaries, but his dismissal triggered a collapse.

For the hosts, Nasum Ahmed (3-21) starred with the ball, while Mustafizur Rahman (2-18) and Taskin Ahmed (2-22) took wickets at regular intervals.

In reply, Bangladesh chased down the target with ease, reaching 104 for one in 13.1 overs.

Opener Tanzid Hasan anchored the innings with an unbeaten 54 from 40 deliveries, featuring four boundaries and two sixes.

Parvez Hossain Emon (23) provided a brisk start before being caught behind off Kyle Klein (1-20), the only wicket to fall.

Captain Litton Das (18*) joined Tanzid to steer the side home as the pair added an unbroken 64 for the second wicket.

This dominant performance underscores the Tigers' superiority in the series, setting up a potential whitewash in the final match on Wednesday at the same venue.
