"Wait and see," he told reporters after the Supreme Court published a copy of its full verdict on Thursday.
"There's no bar to carrying out the verdict," Qamrul said.
Trial of suspected war criminals was one of the ruling Awami League's electoral pledges.
When asked if the sentence would be implemented within the next one month, the minister's cryptic answer was: "Within the fastest possible time".
He said copies of the verdict would be sent to the International Crimes Tribunal, and added that the tribunal, the prison authorities and the Dhaka district administration would take the necessary steps.
Quader Molla was free to seek presidential clemency before the verdict was executed, the state minister said.
“The prison authorities will ask him whether he wants to seek presidential pardon.”
There was no scope of filing a review petition against the verdict and no timeframe had been laid down for the execution of the verdict, he said.
A five-member bench of the Appellate Division led by Chief Justice Md Muzammel Hossain had delivered the verdict on Sept 17.
The top appeals court had given the Jamaat leader maximum penalty after reviewing two appeals against the verdict handed down by the International Crimes Tribunal-2.
