No gas in Dhaka’s Moghbazar for 10 hours on Thursday

The supply will be disrupted as pipes are removed and replaced, Titas Gas says

Titas Gas says gas supply to Moghbazar and nearby areas will be turned off for 10 hours on Thursday for pipeline replacement and removal.

The disruption was announced in a notice placed in a national newspaper on Wednesday, according to Titas’s Public Relations Wing.

The notice said that gas supply to all residential and commercial customers in the Moghbazar, Nayatola, Modhubag, Tejgaon, Hatirjheel, Mirerbag, Gabtola, Greenway, Peyarbag, Eskaton (Dilu Road) areas will be suspended from 10am to 8pm on Thursday, May 23, for pipeline removal and replacement work under the Dhaka Elevated Expressway Route Alignment Project.

The gas distribution company apologised for the temporary inconvenience to its customers.
