Foreign Minister Dipu Moni has urged the international community to remain engaged with Bangladesh and its key export industry readymade clothes.
She was speaking at the global forum on responsible business of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) at its headquarters in Paris.
Moni emphasised that the multinational brands and retailers “need to engage with Bangladesh readymade garments conforming to the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises (MNEs)”.
She also raised the issues of fair pricing of products and sought support for long-term capacity building.
