Growing up, I loved reading the books of Gabriel Garcia Marquez. His magnum opus, 100 Years of Solitude (a tome still unknown to me at the ripe old age of 25) is considered one of the finest works in prosic literature and art. His other novel, Love in the Time of Cholera and Of Love and Other Demons, are considered works of fine art, exploring the themes of love and sex amidst differences of age and inabilities to forget.
