Tazreen owner gets bail

The defence lawyer said Hossain was given bail after be submitted a cheque to return the plaintiff's money.

KDS Group sued Hossain in December 2013 for allegedly embezzling Tk 4,443,720.

Hossain reportedly did not pay after buying products from KDS Group on credit.

The plaintiff's lawyer Rananga Bikash Chowdhury said they would sue Hossain for fraud if they were not paid.

At least 112 people, mostly workers, died and more than 200 were injured in a fire at Tazreen Fashions at Ashulia in Dhaka’s Savar on Nov 24, 2012.
