Strike in Sylhet Monday

The unit’s Publications Secretary Nurul Islam Babul told reporters on Saturday evening that the strike would be enforced from 6am to 12pm.

He said they would hold demonstrations at the Upazilas of the district on Sunday.

Police on Saturday arrested Fakhrul Islam, who is accused in a case on assault on police and vandalism.

Shah Paran Police Station OC Shakhwat Hossain said Islam is also accused several other similar cases.

He is wanted in four of those cases, Hossain said.
