PM fills President in on her upcoming US visit

The prime minister went to the Bangabhaban on Sunday afternoon.

Hasina is leaving for the US Sunday night on a 10-day visit.

On Sept 27, she will address the UNGA and meet her Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in New York.

Hamid’s Press Secretary Ehsanul Karim said Hasina’s upcoming US visit and the president’s Saudi Arabia visit to perform Hajj were discussed in the one-hour meeting.

The last time Hasina called on the president was on June 25 to fill Hamid in of her visits to China and Japan.
