The dead was identified as 40-year-old Anisuzzaman. The injured could not be identified immediately.
The accident took place on Bagerhat-Khulna Highway near Upazila’s Kathaltola area around 9am on Wednesday, said Azizul Islam, chief of Katakhali Police Station.
Anisuzzaman was heading to Khulna from Bagerhat along with his wife and child on the motorbike. A bus hit the motorbike, leaving the man dead on the spot and wounding his wife and child, according to police.
Locals rushed them to Khulna Medical College Hospital.
