Dynamite-making materials found in Jhenaidah ‘hideout’

Eighteen ‘sticks’ of dynamites and 186 circuit boards for bombs were found near two buildings cordoned off by law-enforcement agencies in Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila on Tuesday, said RAB officer Maj Monir Ahmed.

Five explosives and two suicide vests had been found hidden underground during the same operation.

RAB had surrounded the buildings in Chuadanga village around 7am on Tuesday after receiving information of militant activity.

An order restricting the movement of people in the area has been issued by the local administration.
