Children raped in Golapganj
Tungiparha police Sub-Inspector Ikram Hossain said four unidentified men lured the children to a nearby village with the promise to buy them ice-cream and toys.
The assailants molested the children before leaving them at Patgati village, he said.
A local resident, Yasin Sheikh, found the victims and took them to police.
Gopalganj General Hospital’s doctor Rina Rani Saha said medical examination confirmed rape.
The children are residents of Dharabasail Homes at Kotaliparha.
Yasin filed a case over the rape as the victims’ parents refused to lodge a police complaint.
Police were trying to arrest the perpetrators.
