'Ring of fire' solar eclipse glows in the sky

Earth witnessed a celestial showtime in the northern hemisphere as the solar eclipse ‘Ring of fire’ swept across the Earth last Thursday. In this eclipse the Moon moved across the Sun, but did not completely block out the light- which eventually made it look like a thin silver brilliance shine around the Sun’s disc.
