One shot dead in Shariatpur
A person has been shot dead while trying to snatch ballot papers during Upazila polls at Naria in Shariatpur, police say.

The victim has been identified as Ripon Majhi, 30.
Ten people were also injured in the police firing that took place at the Bhumkharha Government Primary School centre on Saturday.
Some 30 supporters of Awami League's rebel candidate AKM Ismail Haque entered the polling station around 3.30pm, said Additional Superintendent of Police Ehsan Shah.
As they tried to snatch the ballot papers police fired on them, he said.
Ripon died after being hit by a bullet in his head, the police official said.
The body was kept at Shariatpur Sadar Hospital morgue.
