He made the remarks in a Facebook post on Sunday as Bangladesh celebrates Victory Day.
“A vote for Paddy Sheaf is a vote for those that murdered 3 million of our countrymen,” wrote the prime minister’s son.
Sajeeb became a member of the Rangpur district Awami League on Feb 25, 2010. Currently, he works as the prime minister’s adviser on information and communication technology.
“I can never forget how many years ago Bangladesh became independent. I was born in the middle of our War of Liberation. Bangladesh and I are the same age.”
