Election-time government to be formed in mid-October, says Quader

A truncated election-time government will be formed in mid-October to steer Bangladesh through the upcoming 11th national polls, said Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader.

“No-one from outside will be part of the government. I spoke to the prime minister and there’ll be no technocrat as the election-time government will be a small administration,” said Quader.

“Jatiya Party has requested the government to include two or three of their members but it is yet to be decided by the prime minister.”
