The meeting will be held at Khaleda’s Gulshan office at 5pm on Sunday, Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi told bdnews24.com on Saturday night.

Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir called the meeting in Khaleda’s absence, Rizvi said.

Khaleda has been in the old jail on Dhaka’s Nazimuddin Road since Thursday when a special court sentenced her to five years in jail for graft in Zia Orphanage Trust.

On Saturday evening, senior BNP leaders met at Khaleda’s office for the first time after Khaleda’s graft case verdict and conviction.

They discussed legal steps for Khaleda’s freedom along with protest programmes in the meeting, BNP leaders said.
