Nasim showed his interest jokingly on Thursday a week after Moudud said he had to sleep on the floor as his cot was damaged along with a number of furniture when RAJUK evicted him from his home in Gulshan earlier this month.

Health Minister Nasim spoke in parliament during the general discussion on the proposed budget for fiscal 2017-18.

“He (Moudud) says he doesn’t have a bed. I’ll send him a bed if he wants. I’ll send it right away if he wants.” Nasim said it with a laugh.

Nasim blamed Moudud for occupying the Gulshan house illegally for far too long, before he was finally driven away. “He should be ashamed of himself. He’s now making a drama out of it.”

BNP’s Standing Committee Member Moudud on Jun 15 had said that he was sleeping on the floor as his bed was damaged.

RAJUK on June 7 evicted him from his upscale Gulshan house, where he lived for more than four decades, after his petition for a review of the Appellate Division's verdict was turned down by the top court.

Since the eviction, Moudud moved into a flat in another Gulshan building on Road No. 84. His belongings were taken there too.
