The court of Dhaka's Third Special Judge Abu Ahmed Jamadar scheduled the hearing on Thursday with the former prime minister on the dock.

The court also scheduled the next hearing for the Zia Orphanage Trust graft on Nov 17.

The case filed by the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) accuses her of embezzling Tk 21 million from funds meant for the Trust, which reportedly came from a foreign bank.

The three-time premier arrived at the court premises at Dhaka's Bakshibazar  around 10 am on Thursday.

Her lawyers cross-examined the ACC official, in charge of investigating the Charitable Trust graft.

In the Orphanage Trust case, the court deferred cross examining the plaintiff to Nov 17 upon the defence's plea.
