AL-backed Annisul files nomination for Dhaka North
Annisul Huq has submitted his nomination papers to fight for the mayor’s post in the Dhaka North City Corporation.

The Awami League-backed candidate went to the returning officer’s office with his fellow businessmen and ruling party leaders on Sunday.
Those accompanying the former FBCCI president included Awami League Joint General Secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanak, International Affairs Secretary Faruk Khan, former minister Abdur Razzaq, former FBCCI chief AK Azad and BGMEA chief Atiqul Islam.
Party chief Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina introduced Annisul to leaders and activists on Friday as the candidate to be backed in the Apr 28 voting.
