Minister Rajiuddin Raju hospitalised
Labour and Employment Minister Rajiuddin Ahmed Raju was admitted to a hospital in the capital after he fell sick during a regular Cabinet meeting on Monday, the ministry’s Public Relations Officer said.

PRO Arifuzzaman told bdnews24.com that the Minister was hurriedly sent to Samorita Hospital after he felt unwell during the proceedings of the weekly meeting of the Cabinet at the Secretariat.
The hospital’s admission department official Abdul Awal said the minister was admitted around 12pm. “He is now under the supervision of a medicine specialist.”
It was not immediately clear what sort of complications he was going through.
Raju, a member of ruling Awami League’s Advisory Council, is an MP from Narsinghdi.
The former ruling party Presidium Member was the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications before he was assigned in Labour Ministry last year.
