Dhaka, Oct 1 (bdnews24.com) – BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Thursday appointed retired major general Ruhul Alam Chowdhury to her advisory council, a press release said.
The press release signed by the party's office secretary, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, read that she appointed Chowdhury by following the party's constitution.
Chowdhury was an advisor to former president Iajuddin Ahmed-led caretaker government.
