Cyprus High Commissioner to Bangladesh presents credentials

The newly appointed High Commissioner of Cyprus to Bangladesh, Andreas Zenonos, presented his credentials to President Dr. Iajuddin Ahmed.
Dhaka, Aug 29 (BDNEWS) – The newly appointed High Commissioner of Cyprus to Bangladesh, Andreas Zenonos, presented his credentials to President Dr. Iajuddin Ahmed.
Welcoming Andreas Zenonos, the President expressed his satisfaction over the existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Cyprus.
The President said both the countries shared common position in many bilateral, regional and international issues as members of the UN, the NAM and the Commonwealth.
The President expressed the hope that the trade volume between the two friendly countries would increase. He appreciated the Cyprus government for giving scholarships to Bangladesh students.
